In Situ Validation Measurements

Remote sensing hyperspectral measurements need to be atmospherically corrected and ground validated. To do this, data from in water optical instruments are used to measure inherent optical properties and to model remote sensing reflectance. Data from the optical instruments are also validated using discrete water samples.
