Research Interests:
I work on investigations within coastal oceanography. My current projects include helping to ensure clean water for our coastal ecosystems through the San Luis Obispo Science & Ecosystem Alliance's (SLOSEA) water quality initiative and mapping surface currents off the central coast of California in real-time using measurements made by high-frequency (HF) radar. My research focuses on the operational use of these measurements – finding new ways to benefit the public, government, and academia.
